Title: Full-Stack Software Engineer

Location: New York City (On-site, 5 days per week)
Company Stage: Series A, high-growth venture-backed startup Office Type: On-site Salary: $150K – $325K base (plus competitive equity and benefits)

Their mission is to make large-scale AI systems trustworthy, robust, and production-ready by developing cutting-edge evaluation, testing, and monitoring technology.

Backed by top-tier investors and founders from the world’s most recognized AI and developer-tooling startups, this team is composed of elite engineers and researchers from leading universities and tech institutions. They’re tackling one of the hardest and most important problems in AI — ensuring AI systems perform reliably in the real world.

• Own end-to-end feature development for a platform used by some of the world’s top AI and enterprise teams.
• Design and implement elegant, reusable frontend components and data visualizations that make complex AI concepts intuitive.
• Collaborate closely with research and infrastructure engineers to bring state-of-the-art AI safety research into production.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and design workflows that make their evaluation and testing pipelines seamless.
• Help shape the product roadmap for one of the most exciting categories in AI — safety, reliability, and robustness.

• 4+ years of experience building full-stack or frontend-oriented web applications.
• Proficiency in Type Script and React
  , with strong fundamentals in modern frontend architecture.
• Backend development experience in Python
  , Go
  , or Rust

• Familiarity with Postgres

  , or Redis

• Strong product sense and a passion for creating simple, powerful user experiences.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Experience designing or building LLM-based applications (e.g., chatbots, agent workflows).
• Experience with Kubernetes or distributed systems.
• Prior exposure to AI/ML infrastructure

• A background in product management or design thinking is a plus.

• Base Salary: $150K–$325K, depending on experience
