RoleJava AWS Lead
Job DescriptionSkilled Java developer with hands on experience on AWS and Type Script. Should have experience of leading a team of 5 to 6 developers offshore. Experience working on integrations from Claims systems to Payment distribution hub platform would be a plus.
Core Competencies- The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of Java development principles including proficiency in core Java concepts and principles with the ability to effectively utilize object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Solid grasp of the Spring Framework, particularly in areas such as dependency injection and application lifecycle management.
- AWS and Type Script.
- Ability to articulate and apply best practices in software architecture and design within the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience with seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
- Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, for effective collaboration and code management.
- Awareness of performance optimization techniques and tools for Java applications, including profiling and debugging practices.

- Must have experience with Claims domain; any experience on Claims payment using a payment hub (ACH) would be a plus.
- Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.
- Applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems.
- Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.
- Exercises original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Builds skills and expertise of the software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
- Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $61,087 to $104,364. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
