We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Associate Director Software Engineering to lead a dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a player‑coach, balancing team leadership and mentorship with hands‑on technical contributions. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, build scalable data solutions and backend services, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional Agile teams.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  Lead, guide, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. Support the growth and development of team members through coaching, feedback, and technical leadership.
• Hands‑On Development:
  Partner with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑scale applications, data solutions, and backend services. Contribute to architecture decisions and technical implementations.
• Architecture & Integration:
  Drive the design and implementation of scalable application and data integration solutions. Support the development of service‑oriented and distributed application architectures.
• Agile Delivery:
  Manage projects throughout the full development lifecycle within an Agile environment. Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders and geographically distributed teams.
• Quality & Deployment:
  Promote engineering best practices, including automated testing, performance optimization, code quality, and continuous delivery processes. Support modern software deployment and operational excellence initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Serve as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• 9+ years of experience building enterprise‑scale software solutions.
• 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams preferred.
• Technical Leadership:
  Proven ability and willingness to contribute hands‑on while managing and mentoring engineers. Experience leading the design and delivery of scalable applications and data solutions.
• Software Engineering:
  Strong background in backend application development and data processing systems. Experience building high‑performance, scalable services and enterprise applications.
• Data & Integration:
  Experience in data engineering, systems integration, or software development. Familiarity with relational and non‑relational database technologies.
• Cloud & Data Platforms:
