** Job Description
**** Responsibilities
* ** Utilize indepth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
* Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
* Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas
* Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
* Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations
* Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results
* Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary    
** Qualifications
* ** 8-12 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
* Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role
* Stakeholder and people management experience
* Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
* Solid understanding of object oriented programming and design pattern        
** Requirements
* ** Exhibit sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture in multiple related areas
* Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of Big Data Grid Computing Data Warehousing Cloud Computing and programming languages such as Java Spark and Python
* Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing
* Expert level knowledge of core Java concepts and framework such as Spring Boot Microservices and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns
* Handson experience with Apache Spark with Java
* Experience with caching solutions like Pinot Redis etc
* Strong knowledge of Oracle DB including schema design and query optimization
* Deep knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors products and services
* Strong leadership
* Ability to persuade and influence senior leaders through excellent data driven communication and diplomacy skills
* Finance domain knowledge is plus

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 85,000 - 95,000
