Description Ring is looking for a Senior Software Development Manager to lead engineering teams building the devices and services behind Ring's connected home security products, including video doorbells, security cameras, and the cloud and mobile experiences that support them. This team's work directly impacts millions of Ring customers worldwide.
A successful candidate will have strong technical judgment, a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You will work closely with device, cloud, mobile, product, and program teams across Ring.

• Own software development and quality end to end for your area
• Set technical direction and work with engineers to architect strong, scalable designs
• Hire, develop, and mentor engineers and engineering managers
• Drive execution against plans and deliver committed results
• Partner with product and program leadership on roadmap and priorities
• Report on development, quality, operations, and system performance to senior leadership

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

• Experience partnering with product and program management teams
• Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
