We are currently seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer (FTE / Hybrid) to join our team in Charlotte ,
North Carolina ,
United States .

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
• Build reusable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
• Participate in application modernization, including legacy application migration and transformation.
• Analyze existing applications and recommend improvements to architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support for critical business applications.
• Monitor application health, investigate production incidents, and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, Dev Ops, and frontend teams.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and Agile development activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and support procedures.
• Support deployment, release activities, and post-production validation.

• 7+ years of experience in Java/backend software development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience developing REST APIs.
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing microservices.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 3+ years of experience in application modernization and legacy system transformation.
• 3+ years of experience providing production support for enterprise applications.
• 3+ years of experience with API integration, design patterns, error handling, and security.
• 2+ years of experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, debugging, and performing root-cause analysis for application issues.
• 3+ years of experience collaborating with architects, business analysts, QA, Dev Ops, and other cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of experience participating in code reviews, unit testing, deployments, and release activities.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.

-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800.00 - $. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
