Senior AI Engineer

Join de Circle to build end-to-end agentic AI systems that take Studio ventures from early scope to a first production release. This hybrid role in New York, NY or Chicago brings together hands‑on engineering, product collaboration, and real ownership of systems that ship and operate.

You will help translate venture ideas into working AI products, harden them for production, and create reusable building blocks teams can apply across new builds. de Circle also offers $190,000 to $250,000 per year

• Build end-to-end agentic AI systems including agents, retrieval, orchestration, and tools for Studio ventures from 0-to-1 through PMF
• Own the path from product scope to ship
  , then harden the first product for production deployment
• Extract reusable primitives across projects to accelerate future builds
• Collaborate with product strategists and design partners to shape what gets built
• Operate effectively across different venture contexts and perform well in ambiguity

• 2 to 5+ years experience with clear individual output at top quant firms (Citadel, Two Sigma, DE Shaw, Jane Street) or elite tech companies (Google, Stripe, Ramp, Databricks, Modal)
• Experience shipping and operating production AI systems with real users
• Entrepreneurial instinct
  , demonstrated through side projects, startup experience, or internal 0-to-1 work
• Top-tier STEM degree
• Commercial EQ to work with non-technical stakeholders
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office in NYC or Chicago
