Location: New York
Prolifics seeks a Database Performance Engineer in New York City to analyze complex DB2 workloads, optimize SQL, and move mature logic into Scala. This is a hands-on role focused on performance, not traditional DBA maintenance.
You will tune DB2 SQL, refactor stored procedures, work with Snowflake warehouses, and collaborate with data engineering and application teams to improve overall system efficiency. Onsite 3 days per week in NYC.
