Member of Technical Staff – Simulation Infrastructure & Digital Twin Architect

Physical AI | Robotics | Digital Twins | NVIDIA Isaac Sim | Omniverse

What if you could help build the virtual world where autonomous systems are trained, tested, validated and improved before they ever touch reality?

This company is building the infrastructure layer that sits between physical hardware and real-world deployment.

Their customers are developing robots, autonomous machines, industrial systems and Physical AI applications.

Your job is to help create the digital environments that allow those systems to be simulated, validated and improved safely before deployment.

This is not a company looking for someone who has simply used a simulator.

They're looking for engineers who have built systems that connect simulation back to real-world hardware.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll work at the intersection of:

The work spans the full lifecycle of an autonomous system:

You'll help customers transform complex physical systems into virtual environments that can be tested repeatedly, scaled efficiently and deployed with confidence.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Designing and improving digital twin environments.
  • Building simulation workflows for robotics and autonomous systems.
  • Creating realistic sensor models and validation pipelines.
  • Supporting synthetic data generation and testing workflows.
  • Working directly with customers to understand their hardware, deployment challenges and validation requirements.
  • Bridging the gap between simulation and real-world behaviour.
  • Contributing to Physical AI and agentic workflows used to automate simulation, testing and validation.
  • Helping define the architecture that enables customers to move from concept through deployment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need to tick every box, but strong candidates will typically have experience across several of the following:

  • Omniverse and OpenUSD
  • Robotics or autonomy simulation
  • Synthetic data generation
  • LiDAR, radar, camera and RGB-D sensor simulation
  • Robotics, autonomy or Physical AI systems
  • Reinforcement learning, robot learning or embodied AI
  • Python and/or C++ software engineering

We're particularly interested in engineers who understand how simulation connects back to physical systems.

You might currently be working as a:

THE TYPES OF PROBLEMS YOU MAY HAVE WORKED ON
  • Synthetic data pipelines
  • Validation and testing frameworks
  • Model training environments
  • Hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop testing

The specific title is less important than the depth of ownership.

We're looking for people who can explain:

Here is the physical system.

Here are the sensors.

Here is the digital twin.

Here is how we recreated the environment.

Here is how we generated data.

Here is how we trained or tested the autonomy stack.

Here is how we validated the results.

And here is how we connected it all back to real hardware.

THE TECHNOLOGY

The environment is heavily centred around the NVIDIA ecosystem, including:

  • Synthetic data generation
  • Physical AI workflows

Experience with adjacent simulation frameworks, autonomy environments and robotics platforms is also highly relevant.

WHO THRIVES HERE

The people who tend to succeed enjoy understanding the entire system.

They are comfortable moving between software, simulation, AI and hardware.

They like solving difficult technical problems where there isn't always an obvious answer.

They enjoy building infrastructure rather than simply consuming it.

And they're excited about helping shape the engineering direction of a company at an early stage.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY IS DIFFERENT

Rather than building a single robot, vehicle or autonomous platform, this team is building the technology stack that enables many others to do so.

The vision is simple:

A customer arrives with a piece of physical hardware.

Your job is to help create its virtual world.

You'll work alongside customers, real hardware, real engineering constraints and real deployment challenges.

This is a chance to help build the simulation layer sitting between Physical AI and the real world.

If you've been working in robotics, simulation, autonomy, digital twins, Physical AI, synthetic data or advanced research environments and want to help build foundational infrastructure for the next generation of intelligent machines, we'd love to speak with you.
