As a Lead Innovation Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Fraud Risk Group under Trust & Security
, youare an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives in Fraud Sentry Originations
.

• Design and implement innovative technology solutions for account origination fraud risk assessment.
• Deliver creative software solutions through advanced design, development, and technical troubleshooting, consistently thinking beyond conventional approaches to solve complex challenges.
• Architect event-driven systems utilizing Kafka as the central event streaming platform.
• Enable real-time data processing and scalable microservices architectures to drive rapid insights, superior customer experiences, and seamless cross-functional integration.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and conduct thorough code reviews and debugging to ensure excellence across the team.
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance the operational stability and reliability of software applications and systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to rigorously assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and integration potential within existing systems.
• Champion communities of practice within Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of emerging and leading-edge technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and respect.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Proven hands-on expertise in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java
  , with a strong foundation in domain-driven design and Spring Boot application development.
• Skilled in automation and continuous delivery practices, driving efficiency and reliability.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  (SDLC) and best practices.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies
  , including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes within a specialized technical discipline, such as cloud-native applications.
• Extensive knowledge of financial services industry practices and IT systems.
• Practical experience with cloud-native platforms
  , including AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or similar technologies.
