Head of HFT

Multi-Strategy / Multi-Manager Hedge Fund is seeking a Head of HFT to manage research, trading, and technology teams across their HFT business. The ideal candidate will have traded and managed desks running HFT strategies and is now looking to continue their career to manage additional research and technology verticals.

• Lead and scale the hedge fund's high-frequency trading business
• Build and deploy principal HFT strategies across global equities and ETFs, futures, FX, and options targeting investment horizons from minutes to days
• Drive monetization of existing infrastructure, utilizing existing quant and engineering resources and partnering with the central risk book and central stat arb teams
• Work directly with engineering teams to design scalable systems architecture
• Oversee strategy implementation and optimize algorithmic monetization

• 10+ years of experience building and running high-frequency trading strategies
• Demonstrated track record managing strategies in any asset class
• Strong hands-on software skills with the ability to read, interpret, and modify production code and write high-quality code in C++ and Python
• Proven ability to work with engineers on systems architecture design
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing a research agenda from idea generation through implementation
• Ability to optimize monetization algorithms
• Experience with advanced non-linear modeling techniques
