Private markets shape which companies get built and how innovation scales - yet origination still runs on manual workflows and fragmented tools.
Raylu is the AI origination engine for private markets
, so every investor can see more of the market, qualify faster, and move first.
We’re not building generic AI. Raylu is purpose-built for Growth Equity and PE - already powering sourcing for leading funds with:
Real-time market maps aligned to your thesis
Standardized, enriched company signals and benchmark
Deep contextual research on emerging companies
Automated, fund-voice outreach to founders and execs
We're hiring a Product Designer to shape how investors find and act on the deals that matter. You'll work side by side with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Growth.
This role is for someone who loves the pace of an early-stage company. We ship every week, learn from customers, and expect plans to change.
Our users are partners, principals and deal teams who live in dense data. Think market maps, company signals, research, and outreach. Your job is to make that power feel simple, fast, and trustworthy. Given the size of the team, you'll work across the entire product, from early concept to what ships, and help define what we build next.
What You'll DoOwn design end to end. Take features from fuzzy problem to wireframes, high-fidelity designs and shipped product.
Design for data-dense workflows. Turn market maps, company signals, research, and outreach into interfaces investors can scan, trust, and act on in seconds.
Ship weekly. Get work in front of users early, learn from what’s live, and iterate instead of waiting for perfect.
Own the outcome, not just the design. Follow your work through launch, measure whether it worked, and fix what didn’t.
Prototype to find the answer. Get to "try it" fast with AI tools, Figma, or code, and explore new interaction patterns for working alongside AI.
Work in the weeds with engineering. Understand technical constraints, help refine what ships, and determine what the bar is on polish.
Talk to users constantly. Run interviews and usability tests with investors, synthesize what you learn, and help shape the roadmap.
Build the system. Spot patterns across the product and turn them into a shared design system and reusable components.
Take ownership. Decide what matters most to work on, and drive it forward without waiting to be told.
Days 1–30: Learn the product and our users. Sit in on customer calls, interview investors, and audit the current experience for friction and inconsistency. Ship your first improvement within your first two weeks.
Days 31–60: Continue shipping meaningful improvements to a core workflow, and continue to build upon the foundations of a shared design system.
Days 61–90: Lead design on a major new feature from concept to launch, and propose the design priorities for the next quarter.
We're looking for a seasoned designer and we judge by the work. Show us what you have shipped, plus the side projects, prototypes and experiments that show how you think. You don't need to know finance - just be curious enough to learn it fast.
How you work
Bias to action. You find the problem, propose the fix, and ship it. You don't wait for perfect specs, and you measure progress by what ships, not what's in Figma.
Resilience. You take tough feedback, a killed idea, or a sudden change in stride, and come back with a better version.
Low ego, high standards. You hold strong opinions loosely, ask for critique, and care more about the best idea winning than whose idea it is.
Raises the energy of the room. You stay constructive under pressure, assume good intent, and make the people around you better.
Sharp…
