- Debugging and improving existing third-party integrations
- Working with and analyzing large volumes of unique sports betting data

- Is able to debug unfamiliar systems and independently work through technical problems
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities and projects can change

- Has experience with sports, sports betting, financial markets, or prediction markets, which is a plus but not required
Sharp Sports is based in New York City and maintains office space in Manhattan. This position can be remote or hybrid, and candidates residing in other locations are welcome to apply. Candidates living in the NYC area are welcome to use our office space as often as desired.
Why Sharp SportsThis is an opportunity to join a small engineering team where your work will have a direct impact on the company's products and customers. Rather than working on a narrowly defined piece of a large engineering organization, you will have exposure to a multifaceted production API and related micro-services, large-scale data infrastructure, cloud systems, and product development.
As the engineering organization grows, there will be opportunities to take ownership of larger technical areas and move into more senior engineering responsibilities.
