Entry Level Assistant Professional

Overview

Normanside Country Club has an opening for an Entry Level Assistant Professional Position. This position will focus mainly on the Outside Operations. The candidate chosen for the golf operation will be exposed to the comprehensive education and training in all facets of golf facility management. We want applicants who want to learn, be heavily involved and whose career goals are to earn a higher position at Normanside Country Club or at another location.

Candidates that do an exceptional job will have a potential opportunity to join the Normanside Country Club staff in a full time capacity.

Experience working at a public, semi-private, or private facility is preferred but not required.

Additional experience such as Tournament Operations looked upon favorably. (Golf Genius, Excel, Microsoft Word)

• Assist the Professional Golf Staff with daily duties and responsibilities.
• Deliver Exceptional member and guest experience with a focus on excellent service and hospitality.
• Help assist the Golf Professional Staff with junior golf clinics and camps.
• Tend to member and guest needs for Golf Bags, Golf Cars, and Push carts.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentations of outside facilities including cart staging areas, driving range, and short game areas.
• Opening and closing responsibilities of the Golf Shop.
• Basic club repair (regrip, loft and lie adjustment)
