Strength and Conditioning/Fitness Coach at SPORTIME/The John McEnroe Tennis Academy – Port Washington, NY. SPORTIME owns and operates 17 tennis, pickleball, sports, camp and fitness clubs across NYS and NJ. The John McEnroe Tennis Academy is featured among top U.S. academies. Our Sports Performance team is seeking a dynamic, personable, outgoing, knowledgeable and hard-working strength and conditioning coach to run day-to-day fitness programs at the Port Washington JMTA location.

This role requires a passion for working with youth and high school tennis players (ages 5-18), as well as adult tennis and pickleball players.

Location:

SPORTIME/The John McEnroe Tennis Academy – Port Washington, NY.

Compensation: $35.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Part-time, 10 hours per week.

• Run day-to-day fitness programs at the Port Washington JMTA location.
• Work with youth and high school tennis players (recreational and high performing) between ages 5-18, as well as adult tennis and pickleball players.
• Utilize dynamic warm-ups, movement drills related to tennis, and change-of-direction sports.
• Provide training for youth athletes in functional strength, conditioning, power, plyometrics and injury prevention.

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science (required).
• National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS, NSCA) certification or National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification.
