Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Responsibilities:

• Coach team members individually and in groups, and demonstrate techniques appropriate for each player and position
• Develop, teach and implement game strategies for the team
• Plan coaching and practice sessions in accordance with NCAA and Northeast Conference regulations
• Improve overall skills by skill instruction for individual player in their respective position, with assistance from assistant coaches
• Teach student-athletes about the rules of the game
• Teach and encourage good sportsmanship on and off the soccer field
• Teach, monitor and maintain the discipline and conduct of student athletes to support the image and reputation of the athletics program
• Monitor academic progress and status of team members, implementing action plans through appropriate staff when needed
• Recruit quality prospective student-athletes and ensure timely submission of their academic records for admissions
• Hire qualified staff members to create a successful team
• Manage all operational, fiscal, and administrative activities for the women’s soccer program
