Reports To:
Head Athletic Trainer Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletically injured student‑athletes, in conjunction with appropriate medical personnel
- Direct sport supervision for assigned teams:
Men’s Basketball, Softball (Subject to change based on department need) - Secondary assistant to the Head Athletic Trainer for Football
- Primary sports responsibilities include attending practices, games, travel, and emergency preparation.
- Complete comprehensive and confidential record keeping, including injury reports, daily treatment logs, pre‑participation histories and physicals, documentation or personal information
- Daily maintenance and organization of the athletic training facilities
- Maintain an appropriate certification and licensure with NATABOC and State of New York
- Administrative duties including, but not limited to, assisting with insurance paperwork/claims and processing NCAA paperwork
