THE RUNDOWNThe Partnership Specialist, is an exciting role with a core focus on elevating Playfly’s current High School/Collegiate National Sales and Playfly’s professional team partnership experience for brands within the Playfly family. This individual will assist in operational needs with additional brand-facing responsibilities. Internally, this individual will ideate and execute partnership plans in collaboration with Playfly’s sales team as well as Enterprise Catalyst teams (Creates, Activation, Insights), in order to develop meaningful partnerships for clients.
As a member of the Playfly Access team, this individual will be accountable for contributing to the achievement of individual KPIs and overall team goals as defined.
- Serve as the activation liaison to appropriate Playfly Sports Properties school partners and professional team partners on behalf of the brand partners where defined
- Meet with brand partners to assist with developing key marketing objectives in alignment with contract obligations
- Assist in working with internal stakeholders to successfully execute and activate brand partnership program
- Assist in pipeline management
- Assist in enterprise inventory tracking
- Responsible for organizing and compiling specs and deadlines for brand partners
- Assist and lead the development of necessary client recaps and proof of performance
- Assist and manage internal reporting/tracking materials as assigned
- Other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Minimum 3+ years experience in one of the following disciplines: partnership marketing, sponsorship sales/activation, or brand strategy
- Experience in Team/Property Sponsorship and/or College Athletics is a plus.
- Must be a strategic-thinker and possess a team-first mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/KORE/Salesforce/Revenue Generation and Tracking systems
- Comprehensive understanding of sponsorship sales and activation
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines with quick response/turnaround
- Project management skills; organized and able to multitask and juggle multiple priorities
Physical Requirements
- Limited travel for events and client functions maybe required
- Potential need to attend events on behalf of brand clients with expectation of activation assistance
- Could include lifting boxes/materials up to 50 lbs
- Multiple hours on your feet at activation space or event
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The Base Pay Range For This Role Is$65,000—$72,000 USD
