Assistant Track & Field Coach
Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District
The Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Track & Field Coach for the upcoming season.
Responsibilities- Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting daily practices
- Support coaching of event groups (sprints, distance, jumps, throws, or hurdles, as assigned)
- Help develop athletes’ skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Supervise student-athletes during practices, meets, and travel
- Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and athletic staff
- Follow all district, league, and NYSPHSAA rules and regulations
- Prior coaching and/or competitive Track & Field experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- NYSED coaching requirements (or willingness to complete):
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- DASA
- Child Abuse Identification
- School Violence Prevention
- Fingerprint clearance required
Stipend based on the current BH-BL Coaches’ Contract
