Description
Class A driver needed to organize, perform and complete the delivery of commercial bulk and bagged feeds in a safe and efficient manner.

• Operate truck in a safe and courteous manner. Safety is first in importance in every delivery task.
• Maintain truck to include pre‑trip checks, following required DOT and other regulatory agency requirements.
• Responsible for cleanliness of truck including regular washing and cleaning of exterior and interior.
• Loads, reloads and assists other drivers in loading as required.
• Inspects hatches, augers and blowers to confirm they are operational and serviceable.
• Responsible for ensuring feed is unloaded to the proper location/bin.
• Ensures accuracy and proper completion of all scale tickets, delivery papers, driver logs and associated documentation.

• Valid Class A Commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements. Current DMV printout required.
• Driving record must meet minimum risk management requirements.

  Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning:
  Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years driving experience.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills to include being courteous and safe on the customer’s property, public roads and company property.
