Job Description

As a member of the corporate leadership team, the Jet Captain will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and exceptional travel for executives, officials and customers on the Gulfstream IV corporate jet.
Salary Range: $260,000 – $337,000*
What You Will Do- Bear full responsibility for the safe and secure operation of the company aircraft (Gulfstream IV), passengers, and crew members.
- Conduct aircraft pre‑ and post‑flight operations, including weight and balance calculations, daily performance charts (APG), and limitation checks.
- Perform flight planning, considering altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise data, airport facilities, navigational aids, and fuel requirements; brief the crew on flight plan details.
- Meet all international, federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies, ensuring crew compliance.
- Supervise crew members and coordinate trip details with passengers, retaining final authority for safe operation.
- Keep the aircraft clean, stocked, and ready for flights, ensuring all provisions for passenger safety and comfort are onboard.
- Ensure required certificates, manuals, and documentation are onboard before each flight.
- Use Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills to maintain open communication and strong interpersonal coordination.
- Adhere to the Aviation Department Policies and Procedures Manual and CFRs.
- Assist loading and unloading of baggage, and provide passenger assistance as needed.
- Perform duties of Second‑in‑Command when scheduled.
- Attend regular ground and simulator training to demonstrate flight proficiency and knowledge of operations.
- Respond to accident, incident, or other occurrence reports, and process any aeronautical information relevant to flight safety.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with tact and decorum.
- Assist in administrative activities assigned by management.
- FAA Air Transport Pilot License with type rating for the Gulfstream IV.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate issued within the preceding twelve (12) months.
- Valid FCC Aircraft Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- 5,000 total flight hours, including 2,000 as Pilot‑in‑Command and 1,000 multiengine jet hours; 500 multiengine jet hours within the last two years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Department Policies, CFRs, and aviation directives.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Experience with European international flying, nighttime operations, and mountainous terrain.
- Current US, Canadian, or International passport.
- Strong listening, problem‑solving, safety orientation, and adaptability under pressure.
