O.T. Delivery Systems Inc. is a Transportation/Warehousing service company servicing the tri-state area and beyond. We currently have an immediate full time opening for an Assistant Dispatcher.

Primary Responsibilities

Routing/Tracking and assisting drivers with daily operations

Intermodal tracking of containers and shipments status on the port of NY/NJ

entering all orders into system (Profit Tools)

Regular office tasks

Customer services and updating customers with daily shipment details

Phone/Customer Service

Position Requirements

2+ year(s) of office, dispatch experience, and customer service management experience

Solid organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail

Transportation/dispatch knowledge a huge plus

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times

Very self-motivated and goal-oriented with ability to multi-task

Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to learn new software and proprietary software (Profit Tools)

College degree desirable
