Fleet Maintenance Manager
Brief Description
The Senior Vehicle Technician is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting daily garage operations while actively performing and overseeing vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs. This role provides technical guidance to Fleet Technicians, assists with work assignments, and ensures repairs and preventive maintenance are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The position requires strong mechanical expertise across gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles, as well as trucks, buses, generators, and heavy equipment.
Proficiency in Excel and Brightly, along with a commitment to accurate documentation and compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements governing Fleet Management, is essential.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance
- NYS Driver's License in good standing
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, problem solving and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
