West Valley Central School District is seeking a dependable and student-focused individual to serve as a Substitute Bus Driver
.
The successful candidate will safely transport students to and from school and school activities while maintaining a positive and professional environment on the bus.
Responsibilities Include:- Safely operating a school bus in accordance with NYS law and district procedures
- Conducting required daily pre-trip inspections
- Following assigned routes and schedules
- Maintaining a safe and orderly bus environment
- Communicating professionally with students, staff, and parents
- Completing required reports and documentation
- Competitive hourly rate of $23.00
- Opportunity for additional driving assignments when available
- Supportive school community
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students each day
All appointments are subject to Board of Education approval.
Qualifications:- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for school bus operation
- Clean driving record
- Ability to meet all NYS and district employment requirements
- Strong commitment to student safety
