We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver and Transport Assistant to join our team. As a Driver and Transport Assistant, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, as well as providing support with transfers and ambulation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Driver And Transport Assistant Responsibilities- Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, including medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social events
- Assist with transfers and ambulation, as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and resident medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address resident needs
- Participate in in-service training and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge
- CNA certification is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
