Delivery Driver

As a part of the Acme Smoked Fish fleet team, you will deliver packaged goods to Acme customers throughout the tri-state area. You will follow all traffic and transportation laws and guidelines and will provide exceptional customer service as appropriate.

• You will drive 16 – 26 ft box truck for deliveries throughout the tri-state area.
• Ability to work in cold environment, assemble, palletize and move orders via pallet jack.
• Must have a “can do” attitude and want to be part of a team.
• Must be able to follow directions and communicate clearly.
• Assist with order packing as necessary.
• Additional duties as assigned within packing/shipping/deliveries.

• High School diploma or Equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid license and DOT medical card
• Must be able to lift 25lb+
• Must be at least 21years of age.
• Ability to work in cold temperature environments for long periods of time.

• Excellent work history, showing positive attendance and tenure.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms or legs to perform job tasks.
• Must be able to reach above and below shoulder height to move products.
• Ability to climb stairs;this includes the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility.
• The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups.
• The ability to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job duties.
• The ability to work in cold (32 to 45
  
  * F) and wet environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

• Valid Medical DOT card.
• Follows EHS, GMP, HR and other company policies.
• Wear required PPE.
• Follow mandated OSHA regulations.
• Report all incidents including near misses immediately.
