Warehouse Assistant (FT-Temporary) – Brooklyn Solar Works

• Working with the Warehouse Management on the procurement of inventory and equipment stocking.
• Driving materials to job sites, as needed.
• Loading & unloading vehicles.
• Organizing & labeling materials in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods and material.
• Ensure work environment is free of debris and remove safety hazards.
• Keeping the warehouse environments clean and tidy.
• Reporting any damaged/missing goods to the Warehouse Manager.
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move/store inventory.

• High school diploma required.
• Valid NYS Drivers license.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Experience Driving a Forklift Is Required.
• OSHA 30 + 10 hrs SST required.
• 1-2 year(s) of relevant experience.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs or more.
• Required to stand or walk for long periods at a time.
• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Team-oriented and friendly disposition.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours.
• Ability to work independently and under moderate supervision.

$20-$24 per hour
