Inventory Clerk

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in New York City, New York. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with the overall management of stock within our bustling warehouse. • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Record inventory movements, adjustments, and discrepancies accurately.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom or warehouse area.
• Assist with the organization and placement of inventory.
• Generate inventory reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
• Support logistics and shipping departments with inventory-related tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
