Location: New York
Picker / Packer Job in Nassau County, New York
Horizon Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified picker packers for a Long Island based warehouse. Basic warehouse picking is performed by a picker that fills one order at a time by moving along warehouse shelves, pulling one item and then moving to the next item on the order form. A Picker/Packer is measured by their percentage of correctly pick line items.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm 1 hour for lunch
Pay Rate: Competitive
Job Duties:
- Standing on feet for length of time
- Counting, matching and color coordination
- Reading slip sheets/order forms and follow written instructions
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in similar role is helpful
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Hand-eye coordination
- Dexterity
- Flexibility to work in different environments
