Warehouse Assistant – Fulfillment & Inventory Arnoff Moving and Storage | Malta, NY
$18–$22/hour + on-call pay

· 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday

Arnoff Moving and Storage is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our customers' fulfillment operations. You'll be a key part of how they get their product out the door, and your work will make a visible difference to them.

What you'll do
- Pick, pack, and ship fulfillment orders accurately and within customer timelines
- Unload inbound shipments and put stock away using established procedures
- Perform inventory counts and keep reports up to date
- Keep the warehouse organized to customer standards
- Communicate with customers by email and phone
- Use company and customer warehouse software, handheld scanners, and barcode equipment
- Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks (we'll train you)
About the on-call rotation
This role includes the opportunity to join our emergency fulfillment rotation, which covers Friday 5:00 pm through Monday 7:00 am. Rotations are one week at a time, currently one week out of every four, and you're paid extra during your on-call week. Emergency orders need to be filled within one hour of the call, and the weekly average is about 5 call-outs, so you'll need to live within a reasonable drive.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience
- A good safety record and strong organizational skills
- Basic math skills and comfort with email, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Reliable transportation (required)
- Forklift or powered equipment experience
- Previous experience with warehouse management software
