The Shift Leader will start each day with a briefing to outline tasks and safety protocols. Throughout the shift, you'll coordinate the team, address issues, and ensure efficient operations. At the end of the shift, you'll conduct a wrap-up meeting to review performance and identify improvements.

You'll work with a team of warehouse staff in a bustling environment in New York, NY. The workplace is a dynamic warehouse setting, requiring strong communication and leadership skills.

You should have at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a valid driver's license. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Lead and motivate your team to ensure they meet their daily targets and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• Coordinate and supervise the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring all goods are handled correctly and efficiently.
• Oversee inventory management, working closely with our inventory team to ensure our stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all team members adhere to our safety protocols.
• Manage shift-to-shift handover, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities and tasks.
• Communicate effectively with our warehouse management team to ensure our operations align with the company's goals and objectives.

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems.
