Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking an outstanding English Teacher for a high-achieving 11-18 Academy in the Cannock area. Rated Good by Ofsted, this school is renowned for its strong results, high expectations, and positive working environment.
Role Details:- Start Date: September 21st 2026
- Contract Length: End of Autumn Term
- December 2026 - Key Stages: Primarily KS3
- Desirable: Ability to teach KS4 English (not essential)
- Pay: £150-£240 per day (dependent on experience)
- Location: Cannock
- Excellent location with easy access to the M6 and surrounding areas
- Supportive, ambitious school culture
- Opportunity to contribute to a thriving English department
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience as an English Teacher
- Passionate, committed, and willing to go the extra mile
- Valid DBS
- Two recent teaching references (within the last 5 years)
