Location: Outskirts of Newark

Salary: Around £30,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

This is a hands‑on, practical role for someone who enjoys working outdoors and taking care of operational sites. You will help keep buildings, equipment and surrounding areas safe, clean and in good condition. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and site teams and help with general maintenance, fuel handling and site support tasks.

• Clear blockages on equipment
• Keep areas clean and protect equipment from corrosion
• Help with maintenance, repair and improvement projects
• Carry out basic groundworks such as digging trenches and moving materials
• Mix and pour concrete for small foundations and structures
• Clean drains and pipework
• Put up safety barriers and warning signs when needed
• Follow all health and safety rules and wear the correct PPE
• Support a positive safety and teamwork culture
• Communicate clearly with site staff and managers
• Carry out other reasonable tasks to support site operations

• Experience in an industrial, construction, utilities or outdoor role
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Happy to work outside in all weather
• Confident working at height and around machinery
• Able to safely use tools, equipment and machinery
• Telehandler and shovel loader experience is essential
• Willing to learn and attend training
• Reliable, positive and able to work alone or in a team
• Must have the right to work in the UK
