Security Officer

We are hiring a Security Officer at Securitas in Newark, UK. This role involves patrols, searches, record‑keeping, communication, and customer service.

Location: Newark, UK

Pay: £12.71 per hour (Overtime Available)

Wednesday to Sunday.

60 hours per week.

Saturday & Sunday – Day Shifts.

Monday & Tuesday – Night Shifts.

42 hours per week.

• Active Patrols:
  Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity.
• Thorough Searches:
  Conduct detailed searches following company policies and procedures.
• Detailed Record‑Keeping:
  Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations.
• Effective Communication:
  Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses.
• Exceptional Customer Service:
  Provide outstanding service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy.

• Valid SIA licence.
• Driving licence or reliable transport links.
• Experience at gate houses.
• Physically fit for site patrolling.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Right to work in the UK with a five‑year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
