Transport Coordinator
Location:
Newark.
Salary: c £27,753.18 - £28,753.18
Rapier Employment are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our client as a Transport Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
To manage and coordinate daily yard activity across inbound and outbound activity.
Control and optimise trailer movements ac ross the yard supporting shunter activity.
Reporting:
Complete shift performance reports and vehicle defect notes, including breakdown callouts where applicable.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with customer services via email and provide operational updates to the Warehouse and transport teams.
Shift Details:
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off.
1 position – Days - 06:00 – 18:00 - £27,752.18
1 position – Nights – 18:00 – 06:00 - £28,753.18
Requirements:
Previous experience in transport coordination or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
