ABOUT

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our stores team, oversee all inbound and outbound operations, and ensure our production lines run smoothly with the right materials at the right time. You will own all inventory administration, keep our systems accurate, and build a strong safety-first culture across the warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead daily Safestart briefings and embed high standards of Health & Safety across the team
  • Maintain a safe, tidy workspace in line with SHE5 and housekeeping requirements
  • Ensure all deliveries are booked in promptly, with discrepancies logged and escalated quickly
  • Manage stock storage locations and keep accurate records of all materials
  • Plan and manage holidays/absences to maintain full operational cover
  • Keep production areas fully replenished - including Kanban and kit materials - to avoid downtime
  • Carry out regular perpetual stock counts and maintain high inventory accuracy
  • Arrange waste and skip removal to keep production areas clear
  • Follow all procedures set out in our Quality Management System
  • Ensure all stock records and purchase order administration is accurate and ready for payment
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Proven experience in a warehouse / stores management role
  • Practical knowledge of MRP systems and inventory control
  • Strong team leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication - able to work well with production, procurement and suppliers
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of stock management software
  • Able to adapt to change and manage competing priorities
  • Experience with in construction or building materials is highly desirable
