Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Summary

We're partnering with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical contractor that's continuing to grow its Northern California operations and is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team.

This role offers the opportunity to manage large-scale commercial construction projects while working alongside experienced preconstruction, engineering, and field teams. The company has a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, providing long-term stability and opportunities for continued growth.

We're seeking candidates with a strong commercial construction background who can manage projects from planning through completion. HVAC or plumbing experience is preferred but not required.

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, and cost control
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration
• Oversee procurement, material deliveries, and project milestones
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards
• Identify project risks, resolve construction challenges, and support value engineering
• Mentor and support Project Engineers and other project team members

• 4–5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred, including project management responsibilities
• Experience managing projects for a general contractor or specialty subcontractor
• HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction experience preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control
• Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, change orders, and project documentation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent construction experience
