Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer – ICT/FP
Unigen Corporation is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain engineering methods, procedures, and systems for ICT and Flying Probe Test equipment. The role reports to the Manager Test Engineering and is located in Newark, CA.

Job OverviewThe Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer will develop programming for testing processes, analyze manufacturing costs, coordinate product release testing, manage equipment, maintain documentation, and provide cross‑functional technical support.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ICT and Flying Probe Test processes and programming for all Unigen products and customers.
- Provide engineering support, troubleshooting, and assistance for test equipment, fixtures, procedures, and software.
- Assist in improving production control, SOPs, safety, quality control, and training.
- Design, develop, test, and source tools and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Coordinate the testing and release of new products with design, product engineering, quotation manager, and customers.
- Analyze, plan, and present engineering solutions for quoting, DFT reports, program generation, and fixture debug/setup.
- Create manufacturing labor and NRE quotes related to ICT and Flying Probe Test.
- Manage and maintain test equipment: calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, upgrade, order tooling and fixtures.
- Perform IQ/OQ and OQ on new fixtures and equipment.
- Create, update, and maintain all test documents.
- Perform reject verification and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Analyze DFT reports, communicate test design guidelines, publish instructions and procedures.
- Review test yield, provide feedback on high reject lines, and improve coverage and accuracy.
- Analyze cost, quality, and efficiency improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues, participate in failure investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training to production supervisors, leads, and operators on test setup and releases.
- Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT and Flying Probe Test development.
