  Full-time, 40 hours per week (with up to 8 hours of overtime available)
• Duration: 6-month assignment with extension potential

  On-site at a cutting-edge engineering headquarters in Newark, CA
• Pay Rate: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
• Travel:
  Official travel may be reimbursed

• Set up and execute advanced structural optimizations, defining design spaces, constraints, and objectives
• Perform subsystem and full-vehicle optimization focused on stiffness, stress, and mass reduction
• Interpret CAE results and translate them into practical, manufacturable design recommendations
• Apply multi-domain and multi-material optimization strategies across NVH, crash, durability, and manufacturing domains
• Collaborate cross-functionally to balance performance, weight, and cost targets
• Provide engineering guidance during early concept and design phases
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Opti Struct, NASTRAN, Hyper Works, and BetaCAE
• Support automation and workflow improvements through Python or TCL scripting when applicable

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, including 1-2 years focused on CAE optimization
• Strong foundation in FEA methods and structural analysis
• Hands-on experience with Opti Struct, NASTRAN, Hyper Works, and/or BetaCAE
• Ability to think analytically, solve complex problems, and collaborate within cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment
• Performance evaluated through task-based technical assessments
