Job Summary
In this role you will work on Systems Integration activities for product development projects. You will serve as the generalist and connect functional components across multiple sub-systems for projects involving system development activities. You will serve as a senior contributor for systems integration, testing, and verification activities. Candidates should have prior hands-on experience working with complex, multi-component sub-systems and regulated product development.

Triple Ring projects typically require multi-disciplinary project teams, and often involve some significant fluidity in project requirements and goals. Hence, you must be comfortable with a certain amount of ambiguity and able to keep and enforce a focus on the "big picture".

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical mentor for junior employees
• Serve as technical lead on projects
• Act as a technical contact for clients in your areas of expertise
• Coordinate between engineering and scientific activities
• Develop technical solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies
• Define system level specifications for technical development and compliance
• Conduct tradeoff studies during product development
• Resolve technical ambiguities and disputes
• Lead activities to resolve problems during design
• Develop engineering tests, including tests involving biological models, for production systems
• Accept and exercise responsibility for the overall technical success of the project
• Assist in the drafting of project proposals
• Work with business development teams to gather project requirements from clients
• Keep up to date with new technologies and methods through literature and conference attendance
• Contribute to and develop added capabilities and enabling tools to expand Triple Ring's R&D capacity
• Contribute to and enhance the unique culture of Triple Ring Technologies
• Develop, maintain, and work within processes consistent with a regulated industry (e.g. FDA)

Education, Experience, and Skills

• Degree in engineering with industry experience: BS +5 or more years industry experience, MS +3 or more years industry experience or PhD + 1 year or more industry experience
• Prior experience in working on complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Proven ability to build, debug, and operate complex experimental setups
• Programming experience with any of the following:
  Python, R, Java, C, MATLAB, etc.
• Data analysis experience
• Modeling/simulation experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Broad knowledge, expertise, and interests is a plus

The annual salary/hourly range for jobs which are performed in US, California is $117,000 to $150,000. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and work location.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and 1-day of your choice. In certain circumstances the hybrid work model may change to accommodate business needs.
