HR Business Partner

Overview

Penguin Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. This hybrid role requires the successful candidate to be onsite, supporting our Fremont and Newark manufacturing sites
. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders at all levels to develop and execute talent solutions that align with business objectives and promote a culture of high performance and engagement. As a trusted advisor, you will build collaborative relationships throughout the organization and serve as a go‑to resource for both employees and leadership.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
, along with the ability to effectively support a diverse range of leaders and teams.

• Act as a coach and trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, career development, and disciplinary actions.
• Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and recognition, ensuring development plans align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Address employee concerns, interpersonal conflicts, and performance-related coaching to foster a productive, inclusive work environment.
• In partnership with the Centers of Excellence, facilitate the successful rollout of key HR programs (e.g., performance reviews, talent development, succession planning, compensation planning).
• Foster a collaborative working environment by establishing cross‑functional relationships across the organization (ie. the broader HR/TA team, Finance, Legal, IT, etc).
• Analyzes trends and metrics to recommend solutions, programs, and policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
• 6-8 years of experience working in the human resources field.
• Track record of establishing strong partnerships and influencing individuals at all levels in the organization.
• Experience supporting various business functions including manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and sales.
