Position SummaryThe Human Resources Managerisresponsibleforleadingall HRfunctionsforamanufacturingfacility,servingasastrategicbusinesspartnertoplantleadershipwhileensuringcompliancewithfederal,state,andlocalemploymentlaws.
Thisroleoverseesemployeerelations,recruiting,onboarding,performance management,training,compensation,benefits administration,andworkforceplanninginafast-pacedautomotivemanufacturingenvironment.
- LeadallplantHRoperationsforhourlyandsalariedemployees.
- Partnerwithoperationsleadershiptosupportproductiongoalsandworkforceplanning.
- Manage recruitment,onboarding,orientation,andretentionprograms.
- Conductemployeeinvestigationsandresolveemployeerelationsissues.
- Ensurecompliancewith Californialaborlaws,wageandhourregulations,OSHA requirements,andcompany policies.
- Overseeleaveadministration,accommodations,workers'compensation,andunemploymentclaims.
- Supportperformancemanagement,corrective action,andemployeedevelopmentinitiatives.
- ManagetrainingprogramsandmaintainemployeerecordsandHRISsystems.
- Monitorturnover,absenteeism,staffing levels,andotherHRmetrics.
- Leademployeeengagementandcultureinitiatives.
- Supportauditsandensurecompliancewithcompanyandcustomerrequirements.
- Bachelor'sdegreein
Human
Resources,Business Administration,orrelatedfield. - 5-10yearsofprogressiveHRexperience,preferablyinmanufacturing,automotive,logistics,orindustrialenvironments.
- Strongknowledgeof Californiaemploymentlaw.
- Experiencewithemployeerelations,investigations,andperformancemanagement.
- Experiencesupportinghourlyproductionworkforcesandmultipleshifts.
- KnowledgeofHRISsystemssuchasADP,Workday,orSAP.
- SHRM-CP,SHRM-SCP,PHR,orSPHRcertificationpreferred.
- Excellent communication,leadership,and conflict-resolution skills.
- Automotivemanufacturingexperience.
- Unionorlaborrelationsexperience.
- Multi-siteHRsupport.
- Workforceplanningandsuccessionplanning.
- Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing environments.
