• Ability to develop, maintain, and administer Windows Server 2008 systems, including systems in a VMware environment.
• Must have heavy network “hands on” technical experience (LAN/WAN)
• Experience with Cisco switches/routers.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Wireless deployments.
• Experience with Site-to-Site VPN’s .
• Knowledge of structured cable system design and implementations.
• Knowledge of fiber systems utilizing.
• Knowledge of Firewall Concepts.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of IT networking systems including the ability to install, maintain, and program network switch devices, routers, firewalls.
• Be able to evaluate and diagnose network LAN/WAN systems.
• Provide 24/7 emergency response for all network infrastructure systems including call duty on a frequent basis.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks that often have competing agendas and timelines.
• Organized and Professional demeanor.
• Being able to follow supervisor’s instructions.
• Customer service oriented aptitude, and solid communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage day to day IT operations. Ensuring issues are handled in an effective manner that best utilizes the resources of the department.
• 5 years of experience working within an IT Dept.
