QA Inspector 2 – FQA Swing Shift

The Final Quality Assurance (FQA) Inspector performs final and other types of quality inspection to ensure finished products comply with all regulatory and company standards. Reports to the Production Supervisor.

• Perform inspections and check sampling procedures.
• Conduct cosmetic and full inspections, and functional tests for all product lines, including PCBA and box builds.
• Ensure finished product compliance with ISO 900X, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 standards, ESD practices, proper material handling, and NCR systems.
• Inspect non‑conforming solder‑join defects on PTH and SMT components.
• Perform online Go‑Not‑Go inspection to confirm parts and assemblies meet IPC‑610A specifications.
• Monitor and operate critical equipment and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, MPI, ECN, deviations, and other documentation to approve or reject final assemblies and record daily test results.
• Perform data entry and scanning to support daily production schedules and transactions.
• Provide team support: demonstrate work methods to new hires, escalate process problems with peers, leads, supervisors, and engineers, share best practices, assist in minor troubleshooting, and actively participate in cross‑training.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to Quality Assurance as assigned.

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• IPC‑610A certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in First Article, In‑Process, FQA, or Receiving Inspection in an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
