We provide comprehensive engineering and test capabilities: from in-house and hydrostatic leak-testing of medium and large format vacuum chambers to machining of precision stainless steel mechanisms. We have the capacity to machine components up to 3 meters. Our metal fabrication services include grinding, vacuum welding, heat treating, plating and anodizing. We can process many advanced materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, ferrous-nonferrous and other exotic alloys.

Summary
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Packs, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may also require operating a forklift and a box van. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. What You'll Do

• Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand weighing up to 60 pounds
• Packaging and unpacking, crating and uncrating, strapping, wrapping materials for shipping.
• Functions as primary contact point for both, customer and internal management for all operational activities related to the shipping department
• Works with customer and suppliers to provide accurate data and proactively follow up for shipping discrepancies resolution on a timely manner
• Responsible for closing work orders and recording shipping orders on the computer system, printing and labeling items and shipping containers with the correct shipping documentation.
• Complete shipping documentation (Domestic/International)
• Reports to area supervisor for all matters relating to conformance, inventory or materials reports as required.
• May be assigned other material handler duties and responsibilities, and is expected to assist with receiving activities as required.
