WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Global Logistics Manager at EOS IT Solutions, you’ll lead the strategy, planning, and execution of international logistics operations to support global events and deployments. You’ll manage end-to-end logistics—including transportation, inventory, vendor relationships, customs compliance, and performance reporting—while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure seamless service delivery. You’ll serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues, oversee continuous improvement efforts, support team development, and contribute to key business reviews.

This role requires international travel and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, efficiency, sustainability, and team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute global logistics strategies for seamless transport, storage, and deployment of event hardware.
  • Act as primary escalation for customer service, approvals, HR, and continuous improvement to drive top team performance.
  • Oversee operational performance, managing inventory, vendor relations, cost control, and on-time delivery across regions.
  • Ensure clean, organized work spaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with event needs.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and third-party providers for smooth international shipping and compliance.
  • Deliver on business plans, KPIs, and people management, leading performance reviews and reporting to the Service Delivery Manager.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping, to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support the SDM in partner management and client communications.
  • Analyze inventory, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels and costs.
  • Ensure all shipments meet SLAs, regulations, and trade requirements.
  • Communicate logistics updates and risks proactively to stakeholders, maintaining global alignment.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and development of a motivated, high-performing logistics team in a positive work environment.
  • Champion sustainability by reducing waste and carbon footprint.
  • Travel internationally as needed to support global events and operations.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in global logistics, preferably within event technology or hardware supply chains.
  • Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding, customs clearance procedures, and global trade compliance.
  • Proven experience managing complex logistics operations involving multiple countries and modes of transportation.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience working within event technology or hardware logistics environments.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (e.g., APICS, PMP).
  • Proven track record managing multi-national logistics teams and complex global supply chains.
  • Expertise in using advanced logistics and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
