Santora CPA Group is a highly respected and growing CPA firm with 50+ dedicated professionals, committed to excellence in client service and fostering a supportive team culture. We’re looking for a Tax Manager who is passionate about proactive client service and tax strategy to join our leadership team. This opportunity could be a partner-track position.
What You’ll Do- Performing and approving complex technical review of tax returns
- Leading strategic tax planning for individuals and businesses
- Working closely with business owners and firm leadership
- Managing and conducting tax research projects
- Managing IRS/state tax examinations and representing clients before tax authorities
- Mentoring and supervising team members and supporting their professional growth
- 5-7+ years of recent public accounting experience, showing a clear track record of career progression
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA designation (EA designation would be considered)
- Deep technical tax knowledge and a proactive, relationship-driven approach to client service
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Comfortable using legacy tax preparation and research software
- Open to adoption of new technologies including AI-enabled tools
