The Junior Project Manager will assist with project planning, coordination, scheduling, and reporting while helping ensure projects stay on track and align with established goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can identify potential challenges while supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Assist with developing project schedules, defining milestones, and coordinating resources to support successful project execution.
- Track project activities and deliverables to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
- Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and help develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Communicate project updates, progress, and potential challenges to team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, presentations, schedules, and budget information.
- Support the implementation of project management procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Coordinate meetings, document key discussions, and track follow-up action items.
- Assist with improving project workflows, processes, and reporting practices.
- Help maintain productive working relationships with external vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- At least 2 years of experience in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Technical degree preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with Asset Suite and SAP is a plus.
