The Learning Experience – Newark, DE is seeking a caring and energetic Toddler Teacher to support our young learners ages 1–3. Our toddler classrooms focus on language development, social skills, early independence, and learning through play in a structured, nurturing childcare environment.

This position is ideal for an early childhood educator who enjoys helping toddlers explore, communicate, and grow during this important developmental stage.

• Guide toddlers in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom
• Deliver play-based activities that support language, motor skills, and social-emotional growth
• Use The Learning Experience curriculum to encourage curiosity and confidence
• Support daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest
• Communicate consistently with families about routines, milestones, and classroom activities
• Maintain compliance with Delaware childcare licensing and center standards
• Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure classroom success

• TECE 1 & TECE 2 certification required (Delaware)
• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or ECE coursework preferred
• At least 6 months of experience working with toddlers or young children
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
