Join a dedicated educational team as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing essential services in an elementary school setting. This onsite, school-based position involves managing a split caseload, serving both traditional and autism programs, aimed at supporting students' communication development within a structured and collaborative environment.
Location: Newark, DE
Employment Type: Full-time contract
Duration: Immediately through 6/12/2026
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, onsite only
Qualifications And Experience- Valid and active Delaware SLP license (required)
- Prior school-based experience preferred, particularly working with elementary-aged children
- Skilled in managing diverse caseloads, including traditional and autism spectrum disorder populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite attendance
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals
- Deliver therapeutic services within an elementary school environment, following best practices and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
